There's an Autobahn Scotland breakfast meet at Port Edgar this Sunday (10am - 12 noon).

Think I’ll pop along to this since the weathers looking good.

Anyone else going from the west coast? Could meet up on route?

I did see your Westfield, there was a great variety of cars on display and a really relaxed atmosphere.

Hope the trip over from the West was worth it!

For any Ayrshire based PHers 2023 kicked off at the weekend with an event hosted by TTD Detailing in Stewarton.

It stayed dry which resulted in a great turnout and we thoroughly enjoyed it. No silly pops and bangs or daft donuts, just great cars, friendly owners, superb coffee and excellent bacon rolls.

Think they're hoping to make it a more regular occurence.

My take on the day, for anyone interested;

Anything coming up in the central belt over the next couple of months? Have moved back and am keen to get out as I've been attending a lot of these down south.

There's a Garden Centre, Motherwell area(?) that has a meet once a month on a Sunday morning. Well over 100 cars on a dry day.
Can't recall the name off hand, will try and remember

Got it: https://www.greensidegardencentre.com/

Have a look ,as said the one run by Lanarkshire Classic at the Greenside garden centre last Sunday of the month. 10-1 Free food to buy
Paisley meet 2nd Sunday of the month at St Mirrens football ground. 9-12 Free food to buy

Tartan Tarmac last Sunday of month 9-12 Larkhall kart circuit the largest by far but unfortunately the owners of the site put up admission a few times which gave you a roll and a cupa from £5 then £6.50 now £8.50 all prepaid and loads thought circuit was taking the P***
so not sure how things are going forward next year hard to get a venue ...nothing to do with the TT team they are a great bunch .have held meets at various locations >Motherwell college was best over 1000 turned up each month . Euro central Maxim park .Transport museum but was spoiled by some irresponsible driving by a few . Milano Cumbernauld was used limited spaces food to buy but free to turn up but pr booked due to numbers .

So if anyone knows of a vast car park in the central belt away from residential houses give me a shout and will pass on details to TT Team

I went to Bacon and Brakes at the Rhynd Cafe yesterday - it was a good turnout with a couple of hundred cars and bikes, with a good mix of makes and styles.
My favourite was the Dan Gurney Impala:

Lovely.

What's the parking like for that many cars (I'd be coming in something dull and modern, dunno if there are separate areas)?

I don't think it was separate, but also didn't see many 'dull and modern' cars. There were people directing parking; you could ask them where's best if you're not displaying.

The "dull and modern" stuff is diected round the back. The Impala is the venue owners car (it sounds awesome).

What makes Ace Cafe so popular? Is it location like next to busy roads or junction, food, entertainment or easy parking with no interruption from the police?
