Went up to Knockhill this weekend to have a look at the goings-on. I went on Saturday and saw the trackday and some testing. It was very cold! It's taken me ages to edit down my pics (a possible downside of a DSLR?!) and below is a small selection.
If your car is not shown but you would like to see it, the chances are I do have a picture somewhere - just ask!

Comments please!

Nice pics Iain Don't suppose you have any of the other black VX (03 reg Turbo)?

Cheers,
Jamie

I think I may - I'll need to get on to my own computer (where the images are stored) to check. I'll keep you posted.

Any more of the blue Exige (background of pic 2).

Again, I'll need to check, but I must have taken a picture of every car there apart from the wee red Mini and the TVR racer above. I'll check my stocks for you as well, chimune.

Cheers, and thanks for the comments so far!
Iain

Sorry Chimune - you're the only request that I cannot fix - would you like a high-res copy of the one shown above? Please email if you do.

The rest - you've got mail!

Some more images from Saturday

Ian - like the photos, what camera / lense were you using ?

Dave

Hi Dave,

I was using a Nikon D50 with the Nikon DX AFS Nikkor 55-200 mm lens, with a skylight filter on the end. I had it in the 'Sports' setting, and got better results than I did at Doune.

What are you using?

Cheers,
Iain

Any chance I could get a gander at the Doune pics?

Was it the event a few weeks back? Or the June one?

It was the Doune meet in September - there's a small selection of my pics here : www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=308095&f=118&h=0

If you have a car not shown, again, I may have a picture.

Cheers,

How do u put the borders on your images??

If you have Photoshop, select your background colour to be white, and increase canvas size by whatever you see fit ('canvas size' should be in a drop-down menu). Then change the background colour to black, and repeat again, by a larger margin than before if you want a 'stepped' look like mine above. Make sure you check the 'relative' box when you select the number of pixels you wish to make the border.

It would be useful if you have a lot of images, to create an action. There should be an 'actions' box at the side of your Photoshop - just click 'record' (it's a circle in a rectangle) then do the procedure. Then click on stop, and you action should be saved. To do borders, select this action that you have created, and image, and click play, and the border will be added in seconds.

If you have any problems, or would like me to go into more detail, just ask.

Cheers,
Iain
