Things to do near Aviemore

Ah, the joys of dog ownership mean that we'll be taking our holiday in Scotland this year.

Next month, we're off to Aviemore for a week. I've taken a cracking lodge, quite remote but a reasonable distance from civilisation.

It's been a few years since I've spent any time in the area so wondered if anyone has any ideas about things to do / places to eat and drink.

The only thing on my list at the moment is to see the ospreys (if they're still around at this time of year).
