Understand the Capri, i had a Opel manta in my youth that had one, about the same front rear weight problems, but I'm think its there tvr fashion cause the jag brakes are too good and the ford too poor so hence the jags do a better job and snatch 1st. But i agree with you and try it, I will go with better huge front brakes and hope this will knock the rear problem on the head. I've also got a kamakasi outfit on order so should match the brake set upLemonentry said:

I think weight distribution would do it. A Jag would be rather heavier at the rear than the TVR. I had a 1972 Simca that had a shut-off valve connected to the rear axle: as the bodyshell rose at the rear under braking it would cut off the fluid to the rear drums... you'd hardly accuse a Simca of being over-braked at the front The shut-off valve leaked so as a temporary fix I put a T-piece in instead: it would leave some impressively long skid-marks It's all down to weight shift.

I will give you guys the nod when I've tested them, but they look good quality and they will finish off the look quite nicely!!
I've got 4-pot Brembo's on mine (off a Mitsubishi Evo) and 330 mm discs. I still found that the rears locked up before the fronts so I've replaced the old pressure regulator with an adjustable bias valve in the rear brake line ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WILWOOD-260-8419-BRAKE-B... ) to decrease pressure to the rears. You'll need to set this up whilst the roads are wet - it's just a case of repeatedly doing emergency stops and adjusting the valve until you get the right balance.
