Nice when someone does it for you. All cleaned up on the rebuild, you can eat your dinner off it, cook it too!

[quote]OK bought the car sold as seen. The previous owner must have known there was somthing wrong
Unfortunately ANY private Sale is essentially 'Sold as Seen' - It does not have to work in any way shape or form - Let the Buyer Beware. Hence the reason many people fork out hundreds on Car Checks ( Shame I find they are crap too, not spotting problems with the cars I`ve bought ) And for Sparks reply I take it will mean small claims court? Or private legal action? Edited by jmorgan on Friday 14th September 21:35

Wedgie The reason its there (apart from the obvious) is that the alternator is on the wrong side so it would have been a bodge to locate to the front. (ever thought what is in cooling towers at power stations, now you know :-)) Edited by jmorgan on Saturday 15th September 11:06

Wow £260 quid! Sound like a very good deal. If you can, take lots of before, during and after shots. Cheers Mike ps. If your mate is also re-fitting the rubber seals around the roof panel and door windows, find out what he is using as an adhesive. www.tvrwedgepages.co.uk
