What's happening in your garage this weekend ?

Note to all: even if the CTS is apparently OK when measured in situ, replace it anyway if you have apparent overfueling.
Took me months to chase warm starting issues and horrible mileage since the CTS was having correct readings when cold and warm. Replaced it anyway finally, and hey presto. Works now.
TL;DR: It's always the CTS. Replace it.
Also, replace the fuel hoses every 5 years. The current hoses appear to have very limited life.

Picked up the coupe and drove 954 miles back to my work location. The car ran perfectly with one small rather annoying exception. The farther I drove the more the brakes squealed.
Now, every application they squeal like crazy.
Can’t wait to drive home this weekend (another 410 miles) and pull the pads and coat the backs with anti squeal.
Is there anything I could spray on in the mean time to quiet it down?

So far rear is about half way off, one of the rear bots just wouldn't move and no real space to get a breaker bar on, so drilled and chiseled off the nut, will be replaced with an M12. Why TVR couldn't have put the bolts a couple of mm nearer the middle... I could have got a socket on the nut.
Thought it was about time I got the 350i MOT'd again, just in case the 390 throws a wobbly before the BBWF. A few things ticked off last years advisories - steering column lower bulkhead bush changed ( I hate that job) and both front lower ball joints changed. Next job will be new bushes and bolts on the A frames - should be fun getting them apart as they look as if they've still got their original rubber bushes.......
From info on post on FB, it is thought that TVR adjusted the ramp angles on the PL diff's for use in the TVR's as they are a lot lighter than the Jag ones, people who have just used the Jag ones have found the car to be extremely twitchy.
Not sure how true this is but be careful for a while as it could be true, but if they Diff is from another TVR it should be ok.
