Agree about more pics, maybe i can get hold of the rest ,he took hundreds
Have to wait and see what happens over the next few days cos an insurance company in the mag has used a pic of my car without my permission.
NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT
Yeah I did notice that but assumed you had got favourable rates from them in return! Bit naughty without your knowledge though!

Steve
Have a chat off line with 'grant-tuscan' his car is used in the mannings adverts in sprint every month to see what sort of deal is available.
IMHO I would have thought free insurance i.e. 12 months adverts for them = 1 years free insurance for you, but thats me.

Steve, that's exactly what happened when my wedge appeared in Classic & sports car -- I phoned the insurance company -- and they knew nothing about it ! I think it's a deal that the mag have with the brokers -- Hope you have more luck than me -- cos I couldn't get a decent deal !! Still looking for the mag, from everyone's comments, it sounds like a good write up / day out
Steve -
I think you will find that the rights to the use of the photo (copyright) are owned by the photographer and/or the magazine.
As far as I am aware you don't have any rights as to the use of the image - even if they took a photo of you personally! You don't even have any rights of control over the use of your own mugshot unless you took the photo and retained the copyright or purchased the copyright from the original owner.

Weeeeell..........
A nice article from the point of view that it praised Steve's SEAC and put it on top, but.........
......a bad article really. I didn't notice them saying much about the cars! And ther crap it said about the Jarama - possibly the best Lamborghini made along with the Islero up until the new/recent generation.
We should have a thread on here/pistonheads to feature all the crap and mistakes the classic car mags make - they are quite frequent - so don't believe all you read!
Anyway - good one Steve - lovely SEAC - I like the comp seats!

Finally got a copy - very nice Steve - shame there weren't more pics and more indepth article - kind of scratched the surface.. but great to see all the same - good luck with the whole photographer/insurer ad thing..
I got a "sorry" out of them and they agreed to ask permission in future. They offered me free subscription but like i told them thats not the point and declind the offer.Sprint editor advised me to except this as he didn't want any bad feelings between the magazines.
Like i have said i have nothing to do with this insurance company and know nothing about them.
