few more bits completed fan belt on, clevis made for the uprated servo and fitted, earthing to coil now in place, basic timing set, module fitted to distributor had to retap the threads in the dizzy housing to 4mm as threads where very poor, overhauled the afm and painted it and its fixing bracket plus one or two smaller items put a new inner into the throttle cable ready to fit after the first engine run next week.

Thanks for the words lads and i will video the first start up ive got a griff coming in next week so wont get to much time on the wedge plus taking the cerb to the roll centre tuesday for its rollcage.

sorted the flapper afm all nice and clean track running smooth should be o.k.

well after sorting the electrics i.e. taking the old immobiliser out and sorting a couple of earths the engine fired and ran instantly much to my relief got the timing set now just to get the cooling system installed and get her up to temperature,

got a fair bit done over the last couple of days fitted the servo, throttle cable, brake lines and clutch line, rad is in as is the cerbera fan, made a nice stainless boss for a later tyoe otter switch which is all now wired in works well engine has been up to temp three times water leak on plenum was the first problem now cured then the inoperative fan switch seemed fine under test but wouldnt switch any load.

A little more done today got the clutch and brakes bled out all good with nice firm pedals now time to start the bodywork as mechanicals are all now done and working.

Well zig i have got three little films inital run then with water then after curing plenum water leak full run up to temp they are all in iphoto but me and computers dont mix so hoping nick will help me out getting them up on youtube.

Back on the wedge going to have a few days on it this week started today sorting out the front end on or two star crazies to repair new side and indicator units ordered try to get at least primer on the main body tub this week.

got a fair amount done front airdam is all back on properly sills are back on and fixed with better fixings all the cracks around the headlight recess are repaired with west epoxy as are the star crazes on the dam mostly sanded ready for primer get some serious masking done next finish the sanding to the rear end and get some paint on.

back on the wedge this week now i have finished the trigger wheel job on a v12 e type got the car sanded apart from the drivers side from the door opening backward thats todays job plus masking then hopefully primer tomorrow.

well sanding ready for primer finished as is the masking just a couple of small filling jobs found when sanding then get the primer on tomorrow.

not sure on which controller as yet we have had two or three on the chim the one on at the moment is good but most of the adjustment seems to be on a very small section of the control wheel any advice appreciated iff you have any experiance off a particular unit

primer all on just a couple of pinholes to fill shown up by the primer,top coat in a week or two

another step completed primer now on all the rest of the body doors bonnet boot etc. sanding body today rest off the parts tomorrow and hopefully top coat.
