Firefox - yep me too - but it ain't gettin used and Ickle TaS 2 arrived on Saturday: so I suspect Wedging will be minimal for a while. I love me SEAC and had thought of putting it in long term storage along side my VVrare Audi Quattro but I think they should be driven - so tis for sale.
I hope to be along on Saturday
Rev - I had a spare SEAC wing made a while back but haven't picked it up yet - if I get 5 min's between nappies and transfering the reg on the SEAC I'll try and pick it up - thinks! - where will it go in the SEAC - two up? Double decker wing on the back!

Congratualations Tas. The 450 gets used less and less now I have two 'Ickle Cirks' but I still can't bring myself to sell. I'm sure I would regret it too much on that rare sunny day when it may have been brought out of the garage......Do you really need the money for nappies? If not, keep it!!

Gary, Many congrats on ickle arrival, Try and keep the SEAC if you can, from what you were saying when we met you will miss driving it loads .... and the fun of repairs, modifications etc....

Hope to meet up again on Sat for and chat . Trying to get rest of family enthused about Wedges so I won't get too much grief when they can't get in the garage (mine is in bits at mo!!! ) can't wait to

ps Have you got the door handles off yet ??!!??

Many regards

No real specific time table but the general plan is :

Saturday..
12:00 ~ 13:00 people arrive
13:00 ~ 15:00 chat, check over cars, check in to hotel etc, eat..
15:00 ~ 15:30 Little drive out .. 20 mins for those that fancy it .. no high speed stuff - just gentle fun.. nearly 100 wedges is going to be loud !
15:30 ~ BBQ time : Photo's chat, meet people etc..

then the BBQ !

Sunday .. hangover recovery..

I suppose someone has to mention this .. please be careful at BBWF .. wheel spins etc .. are OK - but let's keep it fairly sensible .. like - not at 5am .. it's not a lax power meeting.

I'm not saying don't .. as I'm sure I'll be the first to brake my own rule .. but just keep it sensible.

I believe there is a wedding on at the same time .. so we might have to be on best behavour at times .. we also might want to go back to Ettington next year.

Soapbox mode off !

I know you've been there Rev, but isn't the hotel at the A422 junction?

This afternoon, somewhere on one of the nations atherosclerotic arteries, marks the handing over of a brown envelope and a set of keys to next steward of 400SE, the Shadowfax.

NCK - 33HW : SA9DEN4P1LC019374

to one formerly known as 'wedgeless', Steve, a gentleman of the Shires.

As ye gather on the Wiltshire plain, for breaking of fasts and yards of grog, raise your glasses to the ones who laboured with no little skill and courage, who made possible the fine V8 that comes to form the Cathedral of Sound. To the men of Lancashire, overlooking the Bay and the hills of Wales, those who fashioned the Steeds of Wedge.

Till the next time, folks. It's been an honour

For those about to rock
