Baargin! Nothing that a spot of t-cut and a bit of elbow grease won't put right.
Given that it's a V8 you may as well put a blown 5l lump in there with 300 horses - those fastbacks are pretty slippery and it'll crack 180 I would have thought.
Or - here's an idea - get an Elephant pearlescent paint job and a stealth rear number plate ;^)

I've got a couple of questions regarding this car.
Is the glass in the front doors the same as the convertible or is it a special profile/ shape ?
How easy is replacement glass to get ?
What do people think it will fetch ?
Mike
Pretty sure door glass is the same (I was told it was when I bought a spare pair). I acquired mine from a fellow wedger at BBWF one year. The rear side glass would be trickier to source though. Is the glass in the front doors the same as the convertible or is it a special profile/ shape ?

When I got mine last Sept the long thin piece of rear glass was broken. Was replaced with a heavy perspex-type material cut to fit and looks 100%. Wasn't expensive at all.Interested to see what it makes. Maybe £1,700?
Id love an FHC also..Although id be tempted to fit a 5.0ltr Griff engine...(Its still TVR)..Albeit keep and rebuild the original and pallet it for the future in case anyone wants it original...Although i doubt it once they have driven a 5.0ltr Wedge...
I think 2.5K would be a realistic purchase price..I would stretch to 3K for such a project..If i had a big enough garage and a pile of disposable cash!...Sadly not.

Well i bid and won it !!!!
The wife doesn't know about it so it will be fun explaining it !!
Shoe doesn't like my 350se so will definitely moan about this
I will go and get it next weekend and see what it's like
I was surprised at how cheap it went for.
Does anyone have any door glass before i ring the breakers ?

Well you better get hold of those glass asap and fit them incase you have to sleep in it until the Mrs gets used to the idea of you having two of something she doesn't like. You don't want it draughty in there. The wife doesn't know about it so it will be fun explaining it !!

Seriously tough, that will be a beautiful car when it's finished and a very good investment too. That is one rare car and so good to look at and drive. Best of luck with the project.

Hi Mike,
I have nearside door glass, rear quarter glass (i think nearside), various bits of interior trim and a couple of headlamp pods
No idea of value, but PM me if you are interested.
Mods - not sure if this breaks the no advertising rule, just trying to help a fellow TVR owner.

Thanks for the comments i wasn't planning on buying another project but couldn't let this one pass.
Hopefully when i get it it can straight to the storage area down on a farm and if the worst happens i can get the caravan out of storage !!!!
I have too many projects already, i was planning to finish my landie off and then the sunbeam lotus x2.
Those are the projects i'll admit too (there are a few more but i will have a clear out this year and reduce the number !!.
For motovation all i have to do is have a blast in the good wedge to remind me what it's all about !!
Matt you have mail !!
