Well I never thought I would see this car again but she has been unloved since I let her go in 2013, some crazy things have happened to her but not a bad project for me as I just need to right the wrongs that people have done, they really need to stay away from these!

So some joker has removed the capillary probe for the rad fan switch and wired it to the switch I had for the EPS on the dash, god knows what has happened to that as it is not working so fairly heavy steering, the wheel caps were missing, found some of those, the interior is as was but worse, thankfully the work I had done to the trailing arm, rear bearings, front bushes, steering rack etc is all still good and solid.
Just wondering if anyone knows what the seat runners in a Wedge were from, iirc it was a ford part, the runners have been removed from the SX Nissan seats that I put in...honestly...welcome back Delilah...

Thanks Roy, there is a chap who lives quite near who just purchased a really nice white FHC 280i...smile
It is a shame that the Sausage meet at Greenwich does not happen any more, others being forced to sell their TVR's..I think I may need some unleaded heads as the unleaded will be fazed out at some point...your FHC is starting to come along nicely, as you say most of us try to improve not wreck these beasts, I know I made a drama out of the 280i but I do love them smile

Thank you all for the kind words...I guess it is meant to be, I did look at a couple of FHC's as they are so cool, but a bit out of budget and at least I know what was done on the ole girl, mainly the fuel system and the trailing arm set up, front end bushes, ball joints, PAS rack rebuild, 4-pot AP brake upgrade, someone has kindly had a new roof fitted so I am doing the decent thing and have gone back to trimming, starting to look nice...Got a fellow Wedger helping to sort some electrics that have been messed about with out and just waiting on the DVLA pulling their fingers out so I can insure her and say..."ULEZ...up yours...Road tax...up yours...MOT's...up in the air...just in case biggrin

She has had limited miles on the rebuilt engine so thats good...may need some unleaded heads, maybe a cam and some big valves but absolutely no forced induction, and she sound horrendous...biggrin

Cheers drink
