Any views on whats the best shock absorber upgrade for a wedge?? Mines got some avos on but they are 6 years old and the adjusters seem to be shot, so I was wondering about changing them.

Did you fit them yourself? just wondering whether I'm competent enough to have a go. Done it on a fiesta before but thats a bit different...

Get the SHPub Wedge Book on how to do the Job - it ain't easy and requires a special tool. If you fancy doing the job you can borrow the one I made but I'd advise getting a Wedge or Ford(cortina knowledge) person to do it. GB

Ta for the offer of the tool but use of words like 'aint easy' is telling me its an absolute swine to do. I've got the bible so I'd better re-read whats involved!!

What are those coilover things you mentioned....?
