Big Southern Wedge Meeting

OK - we've all been suggesting it for a while ...

A few of us had a successful Wedge meeting near Welyn GC and there was another meeting near Andover... and there are a few Wedge owners in Surrey...

So - let's try for a meeting place where all could meet up.

I've looked at the map and High Wycombe does seem to be equi-distant from all of us ... plus there are a few local Wedge owners there to find us a nice place to meet up (deserted car parks.. pubs etc).

So - if everyone is happy with the general location then the local owners will need to find a venue and some good local roads for us to have a blat along (and re-grouping place).

When, well - let's get Christmas out of the way as most of us have to do the family thing (not me though.. I've played the Joker this year and I'm off to the Himalaya's for 3 weeks..)...

How about a Saturday in Feb.... (January can be bleak..)

So, who wants to come along and do you like the general idea / meeting place.. ?

Too many idea's... just need somewhere central where
everyone can get together...

Idea's for later in the year are great .. always welcome.

I know there will be a Surrey run 5 - and I'm definately going on that .. I also quite fancy doing a
circular route in Essex .. but probably in spring when
the weather in nicer.

I do like the Haynes museum / track idea .. could be a big one for the summer !

enough getting people's wedges out of the garage
in the winter as it is .. !

Gav - Right that's it ... decided.

There is no reason why this should not be a monthly thing.. different venue and amusements each time..

We will need a tunnel at one of the meetings...

OK - Firefox ... Sunday 8th Feb it is at 11:00 am...
at Wycombe park ... it's early in the month but if it's
sucessful then we can always organise more and move the venue around and do different things...!

Yep - in my diary too.. can't wait.

Big Wedge might have a bit more go by then .. I have a few mods planned
