.... I thought I'd introduce myself as another northern Wedge owner (Horbury, near Wakefield).

I've been on PistonHeads for a while (since it was called PetrolHeads I seem to recall), done lots of browsing and posted a few replies.

I have a 1988 420SE that I've owned for just over 10 years, during which time it's done most of the things they all do! Generally enjoyable ownership but expensive at times. Kept thinking I might sell it over the last couple of years but change my mind each time I drive it, so I thought sod it and it's currenly in TVR Bodyshop in Nailsea for bodywork makeover (gulp), full respray (GULP) and wheels refurbished.

It'll be back on the road for spring if I can afford the petrol after that!

The dealer I bought it from (WLA Specialist Cars in Kent) told me they made 7 - nobody seems too sure of an exact figure but that's probably about right.

Interesting that you have a V8S, presumably because the V6 S's couldn't keep up with a Wedge??
