Tasmin possibly going
Discussion
Not wishing to jump the gun, but it looks like the Tasmin may be going To be replaced by (if it's still available) the 420 SEAC in the classifieds.
I'm still waiting to hear from the seller, does anyone know anyhting about this car? Is it a good one etc?
Gavin (waiting with baited breath)
Edited to add Advert to appear tomorrow or Tuesday.

Update:
Well all looks to be going well, I've arranged to go and see it tomorrow night, and if all goes well it should be finding a new home. I swear to god I got about 3 hours sleep last night and tonight looks likely to be the same. I am the most impatient person in the world.
[Sensible head on] Anyone know if there's anything else I should look out for over and above other Wedges[Sensible head off]Ooohhhh Flames!
Roll on Tuesday!

Hello everyone.
Sorry for keeping quiet for the last week, but I have been doing some more research and looking around.
I have pulled out of the purchase of the red SEAC in the classified's. This is in no way meant to reflect badly on Steve's car, it is a really solid car and exactly as described and will make a great purchase for someone.
The reason for this about-turn is another car. I was put onto it by a neighbour who mentioned a friend of theirs was thinking of selling there wedge. Under further probing it turned out to be a 420SEAC. I went to see this car last Thursday night, and was greeted by one of the cleanest wedges I have ever seen. It's white with a dark blue hood and leather interior.
It has done 3000 miles since a full body off re-build. It has a Tim Lamont/Mark Adams tuned engine. (big valve heads, 45mm inlet trumpets, huge ports, 404 cam,etc etc totaling a dyno proven flywheel figure of 295bhp/295ftlb), hi-spec brakes like the ones on the Tas, Spax adjustables, shot blasted and powder coated chassis. The list truly does go on. It goes like a rocket!
Suffice it to say we instantly wanted that one. The wait has been down to the seller making his mind up if he wanted to sell or not. He phoned me this morning to agree to the sale.
So next week we should be going to collect out new car!
It has been a hideously long week waiting to see what is going on, I didn't want to post in case it all went horribly wrong. But it all look to be going ahead now.
So finally thanks for all your help and good wishes.
