Bug*er, I thought the problem was rust! What's the issues with the stainless chassis?

Couldn't get good pics of the outriggers due to the vegetation. This area looks clean though, and it's next to the wheels.

I was pondering what the big ally tank in the boot was...

The owner said it was something to do with the brakes!

There's no doubt. The second pic I posted above was an area I rubbed with my finger... it came up to a mirror finish!

ACT that's fascinating about the 1991 ad. The car fits the description perfectly. The details you state about the engine are new to me, what does that mean in terms of a 'standard' SEAC engine - were solid lifters and that cam standard, and what did it do for the power output?

Aderut, Yes the car has dark blue seats. Everything else stacks up though.

Thinking about it, the seats are in surprisingly good condition when compared to the rest of the car; maybe it's been re-trimmed at some point and the seats are newer than the rest. I'm beyond the point of being surprised at things I find out about this car!!

These seats don't look original to me; anyone know otherwise?
