I'll try and make it if I finish work in time but as long as nobody calls me a hairdresser!
Hey Blueyes! What happened to the Tiv....???
How much for a trim??
I finally got rid of the nightmare. Usual TVR problems (but many more than my previous TVRs) and no dealer to help me out, since Newtown changed to Noble. So it was bye-bye TVR.
As for the trim.... seen your photo.... I think a plastic surgeon would be more help!
7th September it is. All I have to do is remember but I have an appalling memory.
I've signed my mate up to bring his red Corvette Z06 and another to bring his 1972 Firebird and maybe get some other "reasonably tidy" Americans up there. I'll bring the Z28 as two Z06's in one place at one time will cause them be considered common and depreciate (LOL) and I may have a buyer for mine so want to keep it clean.
I suggest parking one side of the car park and if anyone is passing, it might be worth someone warning the landlord they will be descended on (maybe we could hold an impromptu show and charge people to get in...), not that the pub where we hold our American car club meetings ever got rich off us.
It will be easy to recognise me. Apparently, I will be wearing some cowboy boots, a line dancing outfit and say Yeehaw involuntarily.

Well from the responses it looks promising
Just a bit worried about all you guys with memory problems..........are you all fish???
Whenever I've been there before, the top end of the car park (furthest from the road) is pretty quiet, so would seem the best spot to be.
Lets just hope the weather is OK!
See you all Wednesday!

Oh well, I managed to get back home grab a showr and made it out of the house by 10:00 PM and got lost on the way. Must have gone up and down the mountain 5 times, asked 5 people directions and they all got it wrong. Found it in the end at 11:09 PM but there was no one there. I did spotted some tyre marks near the far corner. Anyways, lesson learned, I should give myself more time in the future, but as ususal business gets in the way!
The meeting went very well I thought. Met some nice people but we all started to go about 10pm due to the cold.
Final tally was (apologies for any I missed) a supercharged Corolla, my Z28, Corvette Z06, 2 Elises, one Exige, 2 Chimaeras, one TVR V6, 2 GTM Libras, one Noble and a Caterham 7 (which kindly donated the marks). Did I miss anyone?
The landlord said we were welcome to use the pub for any future meets but said he disapproved of tyre squealing burnouts (whoops).
Overall, I'd say that was an unqualified success.
