its when they drive past in evo's and subaru's is when we all need to worry because no one will get away from them. Wait until the BMW M5 is being used, which at the moment is being used in Durham. Anybody know any other forces using it.
Why are you trying to outrun the police ?

AND to top it all, a VW Transporter VAN PG03*** white, with ladders bolted to the roof, came along the M4 shortly after the Lexus.
I saw that on Cowbridge Road West this afternoon! Saw the blue lights flashing behind the radiator grill.
Howdy folks.
Couple of things then - some of you are right - the Evo is not an FQ 400 - the badge was stuck on to make it look a bit more impressive - it's not used by armed response - just by traffic. It's already been crashed once as well - a copper lost it on the A470 in the wet! Bit of a tricky one to spot (well - as tricky as an Evo IS to spot) coz it hasn't got the extra aerials on the roof! Lights are behind the grill though!
The Range Rover and VW van are both used by covert armed officers
Just for your info!

Re. the EVO I noticed it has one extra aerial - stubby. Plus when you are behind it you can see the rear facing camera mounted on rear seat headrest, front facing camera is next to mirror on windscreen!
I saw that Black evo the other day by the magic roundabout, they were doing tax checks on cars and he was the backup incase of attempted getaway. I managed to slip through un-noticed thanks to my tax disc. They do these vehicle checks quite often between the back of Longlife on ocean way right up to the brains brewery behind central ststion. Look out. Bastards

The evo is actually fitted with ANPR cameras, so unless there was a separate van parked nearby with ANPR, it was probably the evo doing the checks.Personally, I'm all in favour of these checks. If your car's not taxed, it's unlikely to be insured, and these people need to be stopped.
Driving up A470 yesterday then up towards porth, I was behind a PEUGEOT 406 GLX HDI in a Burgindy colour. It had a about 5 aerials over it, had blue light in both lower corners of the rear windscreen, and had a display in the back which im assuming would have some sort of police or something scrolling across it if need be.
I think this was an unmarked police car but not 100% certain. I couldnt see what the driver was wearing but the blonde female passenger had a hi-vis jacket on and I think I saw a ear piece aswell. Any one else seen this, if so, is it definitely a police car.
