Hello mate, hope you are well? I'm no longer with Rebel (I've since started a new club) and I remember doing a few airfield days a few years ago. What were you driving? And I guess it would have been Kemble? I'm getting old so my apologies for the poor memory...
Yes it was Kemble, and was my first time on a track. It was a great day and really had a chance to push my car to the limits for the first time!I was in a Fiesta ST at the time. Long gone now - seems you can't own one without someone stealing the bumper off it! I moved to a Megane 250 and bought a Caterham last year so I'm trying to book some trackdays for the summer (preferably airfield days to get the hang of the thing really!).
How's the new club going?

Ah yes - I do remember now! Damn shame about the bumper on the ST but glad to see it's not held you back.. I was in a Fiesta ST at the time. The new club is going well thanks. I should really promote is a bit (we're only small) but I'm enjoying the fact that we are mostly all good friends. We do all the usual stuff - shows, events, meets, drives, socials, tours, holidays. Love it. I'm just a bit gutted that the better weather is on the way and I'm still without my car. I've been without since January as it's currently undergoing a bit of a transformation.
I'm George, 23 y.o recently moved down from Scotland where I lived for 5 years after moving AWAY from Swansea after living in Wales since 1998, London before that. Haven't got a licence so currently have a 2 vehicle garage, i.e my shoes. Mad about cars and always enjoy photo-ing cars I see, regardless of if it's in a showroom or the Liberty Stadium car park etc
Just moved to Cardiff. Currently hacking around in an old E39 540 Sport. Once I get some new boots on it, I'll come out for a run. It's currently rocking some frightening Ling Long 'ditch-finders' (courtesy of the previous owner) which don't make for especially predictable handling.
