Yep, still better in the dry though. Remember that display. Have seen them many times, and was at Duxford when they took off for London Mall, Lancaster was beautiful, fantastic sight when she came back with bomb doors open having dropped her load of Poppies.

And how can you not love those Merlin engines!!

Woops ! I don't know who added it to the calendar but surely when it added the day as a Tuesday it would make you think something was wrong.

KIMBOLTON RV & TIMES

Right here are all the details ready for Sunday.

We ideally need to be on site by 10am, so I think the timetable below should just about work. There's usually a bit of a queue to get in of the main road, but nothing too horrendous.

Meeting place

Brampton Hut services at the junction of the A1 / A14 near Huntingdon. Once on the services slip road head for the forecourt on the BP service station.

Times

Meet at the above at 9.00am for 9.15am leave please.

From here its down the A1 to the Buckden roundabout then turn right (B661 / B645) to Kimbolton via the back of Grafham Water.

You will need a pass to get in, I,ll hand these out at the RV point. There's also a charge of £5.00 per car payable as you go in.

The final list of attendee's is :

Myself / Corvette C5
Darren / Merc E320 coupe (plus towels and BBQ ???)
Phil Noble / TVR Griff
Kevin Stearn / Dodge Viper
Richard & Lisa / Ferrari 328 GTS
Mr M / Cerbra 4.2 ( Highly polished version)
S6 ROR / Griffith 500 SE
Paul & Sue / TVR Chimaera 500
Phil Ward / Marcos Mantis
Mike / Cerbera 4.2 (not so highly polished version)
Rob Smith / Corvette C3
Jim & Kim / TVR S1
Mark (central) / TVR Cerbera
Andy / TVR Chimaera HC

ALSO ITS THE RETURN OF THE PHEA BBQ !!!!

Darren is kindly bringing along the BBQ. Those wishing to make use of it feel free to bring along your preferred food.

Final note, I,m still looking for someone with a gazebo they would be willing to bring along for the day. Any takers ????

Well that's the lot. See you all Sunday.

Hi Andy. You are most welcome, I still have a couple of passes free so that is no problem. If you don,t mind bringing the gazebo that would be great. Our usual 'gazebo man' can't make this one unfortunately.

Great, see you at the meet point, the Gazebo is about 6 or 7' sq I think, one of those green & white stripey B&Q special. Should fit in the boot OK. If I leave early you can hang on to it and I pick it up at the next WPack meet.

Ian, Another late one here too...sorry!
Is there room for a small one? I have just confirmed that i can bring my MD's CLK 63 AMG Black series, instead of my own Kit Car, if there is room and its ok?

Thanks
Gary

Great, thanks Ian.

I had better purchase some burgers for the BBQ!

Mike, I am up for a convoy from Stowmarket (I live in Elmswell), if you don't mind me tagging along.
Let me know a rendezvous time.

Cheers

Gary
