Yep, get it booked Ian!

Luckily I have managed to wangle a slightly more 'rain friendly' hoon-mobile for the weekend - so don't panic if you see a blue SL tagging on!

I`ll do my best with the weather

I`ve updated the original post with directions given to me by the factory - but only of use if you are going to the factory directly using the A47. There are also directions for those coming up the A1075 from the Flying Fortress but ILUVMERCS has volunteered to lead you in so no worries

Well done Ian

Looks like it will be a record turnout. (subject to weather of course)

Yes, it`s a complete mystery to me that a visit to a supercar factory could generate more interest than an earlier visit to see some piggies Mind you, in fairness, numbers were held back for that due to the vegetarian boycott!

Its the very last of the old shape (SL320) - not mine though I hasten to add (my pop's). A bit old man-ish for me but beggers without roofs can't be chosers !

Maxf - The last of the old shape (code R129) is very nice! The 3.2 18v V6 in the SL is a decent engine - Just a shame its not the 5.0 V8! If its one of the last, is it one of the Limited Edition, run out models?
And we'll have less of the old man's jokes!!

Mr Noble - the SL320 is a real car! (Sorry thought I'd have to stick up for the three pointed star, what with my nickname and all)

See you guys next week

That's a shame Simon Probably the last get together of the year.

BTW, what is tkd? I suppose it could be short for track day
I guess some sort of martial art? only known to people in the know

Never mind Simon wish your son good luck from me and don`t worry about the Mosler visit, I`m sure we could organise another in a few years time!

Oops, sorry, didn't mean to offend. You know what I meant.

Got my "real" car back yesterday so am really looking forward to it now.

With a couple of drop outs in the last couple of days, there is scope for some late comers if anyone is interested.

Please email me direct through my profile if you`d like to come along.
