I've got my Pink Licence back!!
Discussion
Thanks guys! Just some extra info....I did worse than in my first test - 9 minors this time vs. 6 last time And the biggest irony....3 of my minors were for going TOO SLOW!
Further to comments about the policeman down my road, I've also driven through two other speed traps today!
Best news of the day....my insurance hasn't gone up at all! It's still £1,500
Steve, it'll have to all the way, for my 2 year probationary "new driver" period (My driving years go back to zero!)
And Kev, I've already got a Road Angel, but cos the guy used a system VASCAR, he didn't emit any signals for it to pick up. If I could get hold of a police scanner from somewhere.....
P.S. I'm going to pop by the unit tomorrow afternoon, as Oli or Martin left something here, when they came to clean the cars - Also I'd liked to purchase some products, if possible

I'm no expert but if it doesn't emit signals, how is a scanner going to help?
A scanner, giving the remote chance that I pick up some random chatter mentioning where these policeman are hiding.
I'm usually pretty good at spotting policeman, but "my" guy was properly hiding
One of the speed traps I went through yesterday, the guy was very well hidden, on a downward A47 entry slip road, and very difficult to spot, but he was in a marked car, so he's "visible", so perfectly legal

And therefore in breach of ACPO guidelines - they should not 'hide' but be clearly visible. However, when it comes to the courts, the motorist is bottom of the food chain...
Exactly....who would the courts believe - policeman or the a civilian.
I tried queried this avenue to attempt to nullify my case, but I was told I couldn't prove this.

Darren have you got an electric garage door at home. If you leave the receiver button on you may find the bobby's radar gun doesn't quite work allegedly i heard from some where
I've heard about these nifty garage door openers
Trouble is VASCAR emits no signals - the guys times you between two points, by watching you and pressing a button twice. They just don't play the game, right
