That's a lot of money to pay for looking mean... they're a rubbish, rubbish drive and not altogether that quick really.

That's interesting. I've heard the opposite from guys that track them and race against them in the U.S. I imagine they wouldn't be cheap to run. But they are pretty quick contenders in the U.S.

HEhe yeah but that's americans.... I've got a "Racecar Engineering" mag at home with a full writeup on the Team ORECA Vipers running in FIA-GT / Le Mans in the late '90s and the team engineers were on about how they had to push the car to the limit of what was legal in terms of the GT rules to make the car run well.

If you buy it just make sure you purchase a mechanical warranty as well. Dealers can negotiate on the warranty costs and I've always got mine at cost. I got $12K in suspension on my 993 through my warranty

That's Craig Loveridges car. He used to run a 993 C2 until he decided to get a bit more serious and then brought the 964 C2. It was already quite close to a genuine 964RS spec and he spent a heap on it bringing up in line with the other Bridgestone front runners. He's asking $80K and as a comparison a 964 Cup car is $125K.
