They all have their charms but given the choice, which ONE would it be?

oooo tough call. The 911 is pretty rough and not a genuine RS so thats out, the mk2 Rally escort is a 2.0 ohc rather than a proper BDA nutter-motor and isn't really special enough to choose over the others. the mk1 race BDA on the other hand has specialness coming out its (metaphorical) ears but doesn't appear to be road-legal, if I have to go to a track to use it its out, leaving the other two. hmmm.

they both look like pretty nice spec, but I imagine the Fraser is quicker (200bhp compared to probably 175bhp from the Sprint) but thats not really what they're about, I imagine they'd both be pretty close to perfect for driving fun, I think the looks of the Sprint makes it the winner for me theres a certain classical 'rightness' to it IMO. Besides, I just noticed that the Fraser has a bright red interior, It'd make think I was driving something off pimp my ride. Or maybe pimp my seven eek now theres a disturbing thought.

Bright red? it's the same colour interior (and exterior) as mine. Very subdued and tasteful I'll have you know.

hehe rofl

I like the outside, but I still think that colour interior would leave me with a headache!

Look on the bright side, at least you can rest easy in the knowledge that I won't decide to steal yours cos the leathers the wrong colour (not that I'd steal a car anyway, but you know...)

This things a bit of an animal www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Specialist-cars/Competition-cars/photos/a-79843544/p-30261034.htm

Not too easy on the eye but pretty rapid I'd imagine

The Turbo setup is "interesting".

Yep, but it's still a Chevron.

The build quality of the only ones I've seen close up make me prefer a Fraser, Westfield or CateringVan yikes

Couldn't agree with you more. I am a bit fussy and have an eye for detail so anything I got would have to be tidy even if it was a race car.

I like this for cheap thrills www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=79752972 Wonder if I could make it road legal cop

What is it about the sprints that make them so expensive? Is it all in the body? Youd get one hell of a seven replica for 60 grand.

The gearbox seems a random choice. A W series would have been the logical choice, a T50 wouldnt like that kinda power going through it I would have thought. Itd handle it but would be a time bomb.

The power is one thing but it's acting upon much less mass. Not sure what these really weigh confused

I think a re-power with a pair of R1's and a sequential box is called for hehe

I agree. It looks good and not a bad price for the spec.

Not sure about this though:

"Cornering is similar to driving a go-cart, infact this is as close as you'll get to a zero body roll on four wheels."

Yeah looks good, although a shame about the crap momo wheels (can be changed) and the full-style wings... I prefer the cycle-guard wings as is exhibited on Roger_A's machine... something about being able to see the steering angle and suspension bump/droop from the driver's seat is cool
