This one and another have been for sale for some time although this is the cheapest I have seen one. I love them. Good buying IMO as it's quite unique although being a two seater highly impracticle.

I always check the cost of insurance before buying any vehicle. For me it can often be the deciding factor. As the WRX is one of the highest theft risks in NZ Hopefully it won't be too insane.

Wonder where the reserve is...
No reserve as it's a classified listing. $35K is his asking price.

It's the same car in both those photo's. You note the white fence in the background. It's just taken from a differant angle. A lot of the time you'll find it's someones Dad using the son's account hence the differant name.

Not sure why it's showing as registered in one pic and not on TM? I think it's a lot of car for the money. Sure you could buy an EVO or ITR but this is something unique and would have some character. I'm sure he'd be up for a little negotiation as it's been for sale for quite some time. I personally would only consider it if it could be REG & WOF'd.

that Elise, is that one of the special "type xx" versions?
I can never remember which one which.
It's not a "Type" one, it's a "50th Anniversary Edition", which is a similar thing, just a different reason for commemorating (celebrating 50 years of Lotus rather than a specific model).

Sold for $37100

A bit unusual using the 4x4 Turbo version for a track car rather than an RS? I guess a 993RS is getting to be pretty expensive now though.
The RS's are fetching over double that price Ben and are considered too valuable to track by most which is unfortunate as that is what they are intended for. Worldwide prices have been on the increase for all RS's and are starting to settle a little. The economy will be very intersting over the next 1-2 years. Incedently I have been in a 993TT chasing a 993RS and both were giving it 9/10ths and there was bugger all in it. Weight is the enemy of the TT although that could be reduced. The first thing I would do with that black TT is convert it to 2WD.
