So are you offering prospective purchasers hot-laps at Pukekohe?

And what's the Lotus Elise "PTR" bit confused

Dean, KiwiXTR had told me about your car back when I sold the 911. I didn't give it the thought it deserved. I very nice sorted car and quick to boot. A credit to you. Would it lend itself to supercharging? Have you decided what to replce it with?

Thanks, there's a lot of blood sweat & tears....not to mention way to much money & time gone into it....
Yep supercharging was on my list of improvements, the fuel pump is a high capacity 255 ltr just for that reason and the drive shafts are extra beefy to take the 320 + hp these engine can produce with a SC & intercooler bolted to them....
:-( I need a Lotto win !!!!!!!!!!

The plan is to sell the Liz, put some money into the house and then start a race car build project which will most likely be an EG Civic with another Honda K20A (I know the engine so well) - makes for a very quick but affordable (if there is such a thing) race car. Perfect to go play in the SS2000 class or just hooning around at track days/hill climbs, but would really like to have a go at racing before the Jr absorbs all the funds !!

If you know anyone who wants a VERY quick car let me know.......

A classic already and will only appreciate in value. I wonder what it will be worth in 10 years? www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=82907557

I don't know my Honda's all that well but this guy has had a few ex Hong Kong race cars for sale. The Yellow one he had listed before this one was a bit nicer and had a stack dash as well. www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Specialist-cars/Competition-cars/auction-84901408.htm

One of my staff brought a 98' Integra TypeR SpecR and I must say that it would be in the top5 rewarding cars I've driven. Very revvy as expected but with such a stiff and precise chassis and awesome brakes. Very much a drivers car. I've always been a RWD man but for a FWD it was loads of fun and quite rewarding. I was very impressed although all the writeups I had read pretty much backed up what I had felt. My employee is only 18 and was white and shaking after running the car down my road which is VERY tight and twisty. I told him the best mod for $1000 bucks was some driver training and not a monster tacho

This was for sale a while back and I had a good chat to the guy. Lots of work has gone into it and the build cost was huge.

They've been discussed in the Kitcars section by people who have driven them. I've never seen them described as anything more than average in performance and ugly in the looks department.
