MMmm, I have requested a new gear linkage kit for xmas (unusual female present I know) if this gets done I may come along too if I can get the day off work! Havent done a track day for a wee while now.
There are still spots left but filling fast.... hassle your work and if you can swing the day off lemme know and I'll see if we can squeeze you in
I got a gearlinkage for last christmas, and I've loved my gearchange ever since

And one of my bloody teeth fell out today without any warning or provocation.
My niece insists that's worth $5 these days
"When I was a boy . . ."
"Do you mean in the olden days Uncle Graham?"
"Ummm. . . Yes . . . Well . . . When I was a boy a tooth was only worth 10 cents from the tooth-fairy"
"That's a rip-off!!!"
". . . . . ."
Well looks like I have transport sorted from here as far as Rotorua very cheaply/free, and should have plenty of time to cruise up to Puke for the 22nd so it seems I'll be seeing a few of you there.
I'll probably rent a car in Rotorua and drive up, any particular recommendations of rental companies? ie one that will give me a manual car thats ok to drive, and hopefully not charge me extra for being under 25 (if thats possible). Suggestions welcomed as renting a car isn't something I've done before.

It's a Ferrari 348... in the time it takes one standard Elise to Lap Pukekohe, the Ferrari will have hurled itself at the armco twice, caught fire once, passed through three service intervals and seen the Elise keep up with it in a straight line and annihilate it in the bends. :P

is it a real one or an imitation based on an MR2? The MR2 version would be faster as well as more reliable...
Just some quick questions, as I'm pretty sorted now for getting there etc but unlikely to be online from wednesday onwards:
Where do I go when I get there? I've never been to Puke, but assuming the tracks main entrance is easy anough to find with signs/maps etc, what then? do I give money to someone to get in as a non-driver, or just drive on in?
And is there anything else I should know? (as someone who hasn't been to a track-day before)
