I still can't get over how capable the Elise is as a car. Okay its slightly impractical but no worse than a Z3, yet they'll turn 1.1x's around Puke while doing a respectable milage to the gallon. With 220+BHP, the Londa must be a super car slayer?

. . . As for the article, I supplied a spec sheet, the artistic writing is none of my doing. . .

They want to put the Westie in some edition next year. Can't wait to see how they describe it.

. . . Target audience for that article just remember INXS & not Dire Straits so I'll say no more !

I'm more of a Dire Straits / Pink Floyd kind of guy myself rather than Dawn Raid.

Cheers Dean, good to meet you at Manfield. Nice to see the PHers doing a Pacman impression on all the other cars (chomp chomp round the track). Loved the Elise, looked like loads of fun.
I'm meeting Don this evening and hope to get a few photos to post up here soon.

Where is the next PH meeting in this area??? Got to get something arranged!

Cheers
Iain

Great to meet you at Manfield Dean, and congratulations on what you've achieved with the Londa. Not only seriously quick round the track but your external mods give a subtly beefier edge to the Elise styling that looks the dogs IMO. Here's some pics of the Londa and Iain's Caterham.

The co-driver seems to be very relaxed

Is it my imagination or is the Londa beginning to cock its inside rear leg ?

Great pic's Don be keen on some high res shots, I'll PM my email address.
Got an email from a guy doing timing there - got a 1:17.3 not sure if that's good or not ?? Iain did you say a 1:14 was the time to beat ?

Great day had a excellent time - good to meet some PH'ers, have to get the next meet under way - Taupo maybe ??

Yep, the floaty feeling in the back end might just have something to do with the daylight you can just about see there

Kylie, We weren't sure where the baby came from - I figured she must have been inhaled by the Londa on the way up the back straight

The fastest road-car lap I know of around Manfield is an Evo 8 on full slicks and a lot of other goodies doing 1:14.7, so you're not too far off that... especially given the Evo pilot's a real whizz behind the wheel
