I have a mate who has $5K to spend on a good toolset and cabinet etc. I have a friend at a workshop I used to spanner at making some enquiries. Interested in what you guys would rank best to worst in terms of quality... Teng, SnapOn etc? What would you want in that tool set? Any other advice appreciated. I should be able to buy them at trade but if any one has any good contacts then feel free to speak up smile

Thanks for all the input so far.

I have spoken to my old boss at the workshop I used to work and their trade rep for Teng and Jonesy? is going to call in and see me.

In the meantime check these out...

About 1 minute in
That is a very cool vid. I ended up watching the whole series tongue out

I remember talking to the manager at the car stereo company in Wellington. The Whittaker brothers were a customer of theirs back then and he was saying they had a fault with their MacF1. They rang the factory, plugged in the modem, the car ran through a series of revs and tada fixed smile

I remember seeing a MacF1 at the Performance Car trackday at Pukekoe many years ago. What a work of art!
