Have to say, it was great to see the lambo being driven like that. As tom says, it was great trying to keep up with you (we were in the blue vxt)

Im not sure if you noticed but as you overtook that white van, as i followed he just pulled out towards me, must of missed me by inches.

Had a great morning with you guys. nice to meet you all

looking forward to the next.

Jason - thanks for organising, had a great time and some great cars and driving. Mornings like that are why I spend so much time on PH!

Sorry had to dip out after Rye, but had to get home and looked like the weather was going to turn.
Hope to catch up with you all again sometime
Richard

Thanks to Jason for organising this run. My first PH run and certainly not my last..!!

Was great to see some serious weapons grade machinery being driven properly. I was just pleased I could keep up..!!

Shame I had to duck out at Rye, but after doing a nightshift and having to do another tonight, I was wilting..lol!!

Thanks again and was nice to meet such a pleasant bunch as you lot.

Hats off to Jason for a great day out. My apologies to those following me for turning right instead of left at the crossroads. Those speed bumps were not part of the plan rolleyes My fault as I hadn't memorised the directions properly nor had I been down any of the route between the A20 and that point before!

The S1 wasn't the only one who had some fun on the A21 at that point. Zippy told me than jonny5 had some serious wheelspin there. They were behind me and the gap suddenly grew bigger! The rain wasn't scheduled and made the drive back beyond Tenterden 'interesting' in entirely the wrong way.

I got some pics but haven't been able to download them yet.

Oh btw - when is the next one? )

Thanks Jason for getting everyone together . I Thoroughly enjoyed the morning just trying to keep up.
After breakfast I managed to get lost at some point after one of the gt3's left the group, then the heavens opened and I decided it wasn't worth testing the braking ability of my r888 rear tyres and called it a day.

Can anyone recommend a repairer (Kent based if poss close to Medway towns) for my poor M3?

Have damage to offside rear suspension, arm and possibly diff and don't really want it going into the standard insurance repairer!
Post in BMW general, Im sure someone there will be able to help.

looks like you guys had a good run, some serious cars attended aswell (the Sagaris)

The guy with the Saleen Mustang overtook me on the A2 Strood/Rochester bound on saturday afternoon, sounded lovely.

Unfortunatly now the Sagaris has been sold Ill have to watch from the side lines of these kent runs until her replacement comes along in the new year...

Who was driving the 123d..?

Seemed to go reasonably well for an unassuming 2 litre diesel. Is it true these little things return 45mpg+ even if driven hard..??

Drop me a pm.

Cheers,
Nige.

It was a BMW salesman in his new demo!!
But yes I was quite impressed just how far these new engines have come. Its similar performence to original 3.0 six cylinder Diesel, but with miles better MPG.
