Another XK120 this morning in Chelmsford nr. the new Beaulieu Park school - cream, top down.

Blue Porsche 968 Cab on the A12, Galleywood junction yesterday late morning and a cool little Honda Carry/Acty (one with the round lights) pick-up in Theydon Bois, early Sat evening.

Another batch today: black Porsche 924 Turbo & a maroon, '89' XJ-S on the Hutton Trading Estate near Shenfield, early PM; shortly followed by a monster silver Bentley Continental R (or T) driving past the same estate.

Not a bad spot today in the petrol station! Had a brief chat with the owner about this 4.5 litre 1928 Bentley. He was a lovely old boy and more than happy to talk about her. He also didn't hang about when he pulled out!

These cars, even if 'not your bag' are works of art, really. So many parts, from the windscreen and headlights, to the bonnet emblem and interior, are nothing short of beautiful.

Worth a few quid, too!

What a splendid thing.

I saw a whole flotilla of these on the M25 south of Dartford once, I think soon after Le Mans one year, with all the drivers in leather driving helmets and linked by 2-way radio gear. Fabulous.

The entry price these days is somewhat eye-watering.

Another load on the road today... white Capri on a low-loader leaving and a blue TVR Tuscan both hearing out of Clacton, two E30 3-Series BMW's: Frinton (blue/green Touring (for sale @ £3,150) & a red 3-door/Coupe on a drive in Kirby.

Then three separate Ferrari's on the A12: red 488 near the main Colchester junction shortly followed by a dark California and finally a dark red F12 passing Kelvedon.

Blue E12 5 Series on a drive in Bowers Gifford yesterday morning and a rough looking white Gallardo Spyder outside a unit in Sible Hedingham later in the day.

Bit off patch, a blue Lada Niva outside a garage in Sudbury at lunchtime.

A Caterham in the rain in Brentwood on Saturday, and a 675LT on the M25 in Kent on Monday morning.

I saw black Caterham earlier today in Maldon - no front screen, dude driving was unsurprisingly wearing a full lid.

Also saw a very clean 1950's Chevy pick-up truck - maybe a 3100, at Morrisons petrol station, also in Maldon.
