Main roads in Chelmsford are just wet like it's been raining now, and smaller untreated side roads are like ice rinks and will be for some time as long as the temperatures keep dropping below 0c overnight. Pavements are quite treacherous too. I particularly enjoyed watching my neighbour pouring boiled kettle water over his windscreen on Monday morning

Southend meanwhile had not a single fall of snow.

This hasn't moved for a couple of weeks now. All the houses on this road have more than ample driveways, so it's just odd seeing such a car laid up on the road.
