Summer BBQ/Beer/Family Day

Considering that the PH Essex/Kent forum is full of friendly and easy going folk I was wondering if we could have a social gathering this summer, a few beers, bbq, bring the wives, kids and pets if required.

Locations/dates/diets/attendees etc will need some sorting out but maybe we could get our heads together and have a good little gathering.

I was thinking along the lines of a big pub that does the outdoor BBQ and has kiddies play area etc.

Along the lines of The Victory at West Mersea.

The Lodge in South Woodham is setup for this imo. Big car park, great outside area, somewhere for the kids to play. Only thing is weekends down there get very busy.

I thought I'd seen them do BBQ before. They do have very good catering facilities though.
