Red 355 on the A33 going into Reading

Last night, on Hawley Lane, Farnborough, A lovely red MkIII Cortina Convertible.

I spotted it twice, turning out of two housing estates off Hawley Lane. It looked fabulous with the top down.


Although I pinched this image from the web ( http://www.simoncars.co.uk/ford/cortinac.html ) I think it may be the actual car I saw last night. 400 conversions done, apparently. Lord knows how many still survive?

I couldn't find a photo of it with the roof down

What looked to be some form of custom kit / extreme 4x4 / off roader, in black with the reg plate 11 MAD, driving out of Frimley and down Hawley Lane around 4.30 today.

Not sure exactly what it was but looked absolutely mental.
