Pete and I are meeting at The Gorge in Reading for breakfast at 8:15 followed by a gentle'ish hoon down to the meet point on the A34.

Anyone else up for that?

(We'll be leaving from The Gorge at 9:15 if anyone doesn't want breakfast first.)

Potentially a stupid question, but got myself a radio this week (the MT800 from recommendations on here) - do we use the CTCSS or DCS 'privacy codes'?

put it on channel 5 then press the mode key so the CTCSS flashes then use the channel up key to change it to 05 then press "talk" to enter it

your display should then say 505

Awesome - cheers Chris. Should probably have just e-mailed you, rather than plastering my emasculating plea for advice in full view...! whistle

Have just sent an itn file for those I have email addresses - simple cross country run from The Gorge to Sutton Scotney North.

If anyone else would like it, please PM me through my profile! biggrin

ETA: I'll print off a couple of copies and bring them with me anyway for those without TomTom.

I'm still about (just) - can send you the itn of the main run if you still need it, but don't have any of the details of the pre-hoon run (just meeting you all at the main start point). PM me if you need the itn and I'll get it over tonight.

You did miss out John! I know what you mean about the trains from London though, I've been stuck there in a club waiting until 6am so I can get home again.

PS: I am still working on the Wales video - I had edited some before I realised something had gone wrong with the video conversion at some point as it skipped every few seconds mad Didn't film today so probably have time to work on the Wales video this week.
