Was good to meet you guys yesterday, and was good drive too! driving Shame about the traffic, I reckon we should do a run a bit earlier next time!
Nice pictures there John, I took a few but they're pretty similar, I'll stick them up here when I get back from work anyway.
Sorry we lost you at the end Wasted Years, I was trying to wait up for you but had an Audi all over me shoot and as we turned onto the Hogs Back I saw you flash by in my mirrors!
Anyway cheers for organising it Paul, and nice one for the ride in the Caterham, loved it!! thumbup
Looking forward to the next one!

Cheers thumbup They do take a few people by surprise.

I was pleasantly surprised myself how easy it was to stay in touch. I was expecting the VX220 and Caterham particularly to be in another league - but I guess in the 'real world' on the roads we drove you can only go so fast! Obviously I was absolutely ringing its neck on the straights haha evil

They do tick the boxes on the practicality front too. However, I want a Caterham now.....

Gotta admit was set on an Elise for a weekender, but having seen/heard/watched the Caterham/VX220T's I may be thinking again... idea

Hi everyone,

Was great to meet you all, really enjoyed the day! Well done Paul for organising, good route!

As others have mentioned, I would definately be up for another meet some time.

I was also very impressed with the Clio's, wish I could trade my everyday Laguna barge in for one!

No probs tim. Lost you guys not so far from the end so just took the detour home. Earlier start times does sound good. Was the slowest car there but in true driver fashion I have to make an excuse and todays excuse is: my auxiliary belt needs tightening, no really it does.

Sorry about the swift reply earlier, always difficult to type an essay at work!

John_R - If you fancy a spin in the Caterham, I'll be more than happy to honour that....any excuse hey!

Taking the car up to James Whiting Sevens for its annual service tommorrow, just spent the last 45 mins putting the tent up...sorry, roof on the f**king thing.. you'll have to excuse any spelling errors in this as I am typing with the remaining stumps which were previously fingers! Anyway, enough about my 45 minute erection! ranting

Am scanning the calendar/map to find a suitable date/route for the next outting, who's up for a once a month thing?

And once again, cheers chaps for sunday, only just stopped grinning this afternoon after that drive!

Would be up for a regular hoon. The car is totally FUBAR and I rapidly need to get a replacement ASAP so might have to miss the next one. Let the car hunt begin.
