I used Dyno dynamic rollers at Allan jefferies in Plymouth on the 200sx, lots of 4x4 skylines there that day, so as much as I thought Charlies are ok too. He also has scoobies on his regularly?? Maybe its your German diff or something that get upset?
Er I know exactly why charlie / pretty much any rolling road has a nightmare running my car. I was only answering James's question because he seems to think his car won't make the power, not that I'm sure why it matters as it's clearly quite quick when it's allowed out. ![rofl](/inc/images/rofl.gif)
PS. Yes, on mine it's the haldex diff that's the issue as it keeps trying to move torque around.
I thought turbos / intercooled cars were sensitive / funny in general- no idea the reasons as to why though just what I have come to read on forums...
I know with mine (not personally mine but other owners) there have been many issues with cooling / fans / inlet temp's so as to produce low readings, in some cases embaressingly so![redface](/inc/images/redface.gif)

As for turbo cars alot of it depends on how the ecu reads it's intake temps, VAG cars use many sensors but the MAF sometimes throws a wobbly and goes into limp mode if the car is hot before it goes on the rollers and there is not enough cooling.
A few tips.
Take the car out for a slow low rev spin before putting it on the rolling road, warm the oils but not overheat the engine, chuck some cold water across the inlet manifold and leave the bonnet open before the run, the rest is down to the operator, leave VAG turbo engines at high revs for too long and they over heat simple as that really, it is best to do only a couple of runs on the rolling road before taking them off and allow them to cool.

From my experience the easiest way to gain a relative crank HP raiting is to disconnect the haldex rear ecu controller can be done via vag com if you know how.
Yeah or pull the fuse that seems pretty popular, but then it's even more pointless because you're not even getting an accurate at the wheels figure. I'm not really interested if my car isn't run in 4WD. I know S3s have been run on dyno dynamics rollers, but I know Charlie pretty well and he's tried a few times and never seems to have any luck. I'm just hoping mine would play nice ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
