I saw two ordinary, unmarked vans with blue lights and sirens screaming down the M4 yesterday around 4.30 heading east.
One was white with a ladder on the back.
No idea if they were genuine unmarked Police vehicles or a few chancers. But people were moving out of their way.
That be the one from the Ray Winstone film, The Sweeney. One was white with a ladder on the back.

Black/Dark Navy Volvo V70 Estate coming out of the Whitley depot on Sunday morning at about 0725hrs. Thought it was going to take my front end off until he thought better of it.
Went onto the M4 Eastbound at Jct 11.
Would you give it a second glance at that time in the morning? - thought not!
Cheers, Pewe.

Just gone through the roadworks on the M3 mid morning today heading towards Basingstoke. Got past the last specs camera's then we all put our foot down. I noticed in my rear view mirror a Silver Skoda Octavia VRS keeping pace (but quite some distance behind). Decided that as every VRS skoda on the road is an unmarked bib that it would clearly be wise to ease up and pull into the middle lane.
As it then came past me, it was indeed actually the unmarked one I had seen a few weeks ago in Blackwater....HN62 YN*
As it went a little further ahead the blues went on and off he shot into the distance...

Spotted this last Friday, hunting on the M3, he was driving slowly (40mph) along the hard should with hazards on. Looked like he was waiting for something a bit quicker than my Galaxy As it then came past me, it was indeed actually the unmarked one I had seen a few weeks ago in Blackwater....HN62 YN*

Another day, another unmarked bib. This time - hard to believe as it might be, it was not a Skoda!
Blue Ford Fiesta - yes Fiesta! In Woking one way system by the mult storey had just pulled a gentleman over. G*59 HFS
Sneaky, I wouldnt have spotted it if it were not for the uniformed officer getting out and the blue lights in the rear light cluster flashing
