Lovely pics. My blue Toyota Corona is being used for filming along with my girlfriend's green Datsun. Did you spot them? Are they looking after them?
I will keep an eye out as I am up there walking the dog once a day , who's was the early Celica then ?

How funny, yesterday that grandstand was full of blow-up dolls!! Seriously, took a minute to realise they weren't actual people

Does anyone who's been up there recently know if Coopers Hill is open again? The diversions last week were a right PITA !

It's so bizzare seeing all this on my doorstep , loving seeing it all happen though!

Coopers hill is open again , thank god , what a time to close it down with 2 sets of other roadworks going on , not helpful at all.

What's security like? Can you just walk in and take some photos.

just got back after watching a bit of the first days filming. Quite odd when I arrived, it appeared that Japan had invaded! They are apparently filming the Japanese GP today, and the set was swarming with Japanese extras, some of whom apparently stormed off set when the artificial rain was turned on! They had not signed up to that!

If you look really closely you can see me sat in the top of the grandstand smile

Tool a few pics later but manged to have a good poke around this afternoon. Wasnt entirely sure where access was and after and aborted entry by the cafe I went to the NCAA entrance and just kept on driving till I parked up by the F1 cars. Bit chilly there today especially at the top of the stand.
