I thought a short 20 minute to run to the Bridge Barn pub in Woking (on the Basingstoke Canal) for a swift pint or food if you want it would be ideal. Large car park and fairly out the way. If you wanted a longer run, say 30-40 minutes there is the Fairmile Pub in Cobham. You could then get back home via the A3 so would be quicker route back too. Or any other pub suggestions welcome.

Vixpy - BMWdriverNigel are you up for this? Or anyone else...?

The bridgebarn has gone downhill to be honest mate, and its packed on a thursday . The food used to be sooo good there!

This is Thursday this week... (10 May)...

Ascot is feasible, although I don't know the entire way there, I would have to follow from Bracknell onwards... See what the others think, not sure whether vixpy is going to start a new thread...
