Cheers Ferg!

One thing I was very suprised at was that I didnt have to clean any finger prints off it when I got home but as Stunned Monkey will tell you that didnt stop me from cleaning her again anyways!yes

I would also like to point out that I did not buy my Delorean with any Back to the bloody Future influence. The first movie was good but then it got milked in the usual Hollywood Fashion!

Thanks for organising this one.

What a Shame pub did not open sooner. Many went down to the garden centre for brekky.

Popped over from Worthing late in the blue old school Caterham with two others... and found space in the car park! My first and NOT my last PH meet... Andy

Looking forward to seeing it again Jamie! Hopefully the picture went through OK, likewise Keith should have got his of the Ultima - they'll take while to download I'm afraid. Any problems, just let me know.

Hi all, only just got round to replying to this.

Thanks for organising a great event Lee. Thanks to all the people I spoke to, nice to meet you and sorry to those I didn't get round to speaking to. What a great selection of cars there was and turned out to be very nice weather too.

Lee, I will definately be along to that meet. I know the Plough well and its one of my regular summer pubs to drive to.

Can't wait for the next PH event.

Big thanks to Lee for organising and yet more thanks for the nice comments about the Mosler.

I think everyone deserves a big pat on the back for such a fantastic turnout in the mist and cold.

As for a favourite, I was torn between the Carrera GT and the Alfa!

Thanks, as I don't think there were any other Alfas there or an 8c Competizione I'll take that as a nice compliment from a Mosler man!!
Thats the great thing about PH meets, there is no snobbery (that I've noticed) between value of cars or rarity. Its great that I can park my humble Junior next to a CGT etc and still get some appreciation!
Cheers

Hardly a humble Junior - looked a lovely car to me! I have to agree with Mawse that the Alfa really did stand out. I must admit that the Astons were very tasty too - old and modern. A nice touch.

It is so nice to have meetings of like-minded people who basically love cars of all sorts, like to have a natter, and do the odd wheelspin. Lucky P also got my vote for that one. 0 to 30 mph in about 5 yards - very impressive smile

I'm quite late in replying, but I thought it was a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Lee did a great job in organising the event, and I enjoyed speaking to some of the regular faces, as well as some new people too.

I always leave the PH meets feeling very happy to be part of a car community full of such nice people, and therefore am looking forward to the next meet very much.

I think my Dad summed it up! He had never been to a car meet before, and was blown away by Pistonheads. He could not believe owners were actually talking to him and a few actually encouraged him to have a sit in. Two things stick out for me, that everybody is open and approachable, and you know that nobody there is going to damage your pride and joy. I think because 75% of the attendees actually have a car there, it does improve the atmosphere. The eclectic mix does it for me, i get no enjoyment looking at 50 production cars all the same with their bonnets up. Gotta go some to beat the Wadhust Sunday Service, which for me is the holy grail of a PH meet, completely random and chaotic, but i think we all pulled it off!

Thanks for the kind comments about being well organised, you lot sorted the list out yourselves which i am thankful for, all i did was use 6 traffic cones, and a printer, clipboard and biro!

not exactly Lee,

as an organiser of events myself i know it takes a bit more than that so i know you're being modest smile

it was very relaxed, friendly and i really enjoyed it. hope to make the next one as well assuming we're not away on tour.

i took a few photos although they were rather rushed as i was enjoying talking to everyone smile
i'll post them up a bit later on

Excellent pics. There's something wrong with the red thing in the first one - it's got the roof up wink
