There is indeed a Bel and Dragon in Windsor, hopefully the parking is better than the one in cookham!

I have never been to the George and Dragon but I'm game for trying it.

Bel & Dragon in Cookham is a nightmare for parking, as is all of Cookham

The George & Dragon have moorings too, and we regularly stop there for lunch or dinner.

1. I saw the traffic from the bridge so ducked through Maidenhead and jumped on the 404, 8/9 to 10 was fine.

2. Bel and Dragon - YES - Reading - YES - Parking - YES

3. George and Dragon in Wargrave used to be a lovely place, they refurb'd and changed a lot a couple of years ago and it's nice now but doesn't have the same charm. Still lovely on a summer's evening though if you can get a table out on the deck.

How's everyone today? I'm happy and excited bounce Alton Towers tomorrow!!!

Pete, the car sounded superb last night!

Well I am game for the Bel and Dragon whether it be in cookham, windsor or reading it makes no difference to me. I have kind of accepted that wherever we go, I have to travel but its a good excuse for a drive.

Enjoy Alton Towers!
