I borrowed an XKR for a couple of weeks - Ben's S3 would have flattened it for handling!

Edited to correct: Ben driving his S3 would have flattened it for handling! hehe

This one's even in Maidenhead so you could view it in a lunhbreak wink although might be an acquired taste as far as colour combo (must say that I have ever seen it around here, and it would be hard to miss)

I reckon that'll need a new engine within a month of being driven everyday... it's criminal to do so few miles in that car...

And, just to be clear, I never wanted a yellow car, just ended up with one somehow scratchchin

Ok.. So you hate Minis! irked.
So how about this instead. Blisteringly quick and not as common as a TVR wink

Ok so it does have one draw back.. It's an auto. But for 3k you can get that fixed to a proper box and get close on 2 leptons out of it.

Runs and hides quickly.

Back on topic (sorry) i've just had a call from my mum in Caversham. She's out getting sand bags filled (with sand in fact). The Environment Agency dropped by earlier, after three phone calls, to say that she's likely to be wading to the kitchen sink by tomorrow morning so she needs to put some sand bags in place.

They're expecting the river to rise 5 feet yikes this evening and tomorrow morning.

Hmm.. You have a good point. Although that's a rocket ship in comparison to my mini.

Ok.. So how about a Skyline??? That'd suit Bens style hehe

Thankfully your boat floats, my mum's house is rather heavier... but i suggest you get down to Wargrave asap and do what you can to secure your boat so that if the river does come up five feet you minimise any risk of runaway or damage.

Just the time when you don't want blocked scuppers!!

Alot of people at willowtree mariner have had problems in the past where they havent come to slacking off the mooring ropes whilst the water level rises above the jetty. They end up capsizing if it gets high enough or they take onboard alot of water.

I hope no-one gets flooded frown

The river has already burst it's banks at Bourne End. Apparently the worst is likely to be coming through tomorrow.

On a side note Yahoo has this slightly worrying story
