Virginia Waters meet the 24th Oct.
Discussion
Hi
I was wondering if anyone in our area was going along to the big meet at Virginia Waters this coming Sunday 24th.
If so, how about a bit of a convoy / group drive/ run to the event?
Thought we might meet up at "THE POINT" in Bracknell.
It's a Bowling Alley and Cinema complex with some superstores. Big free carpark and easy to find.
We'll be on the right hand side as you drive into the entrance. speed humps are there, but they're low ones.
Please register your interest here so we have an idea of numbers. 11:00am meet at 'The Point' leaving at 11:15 sharp for V.W.

Here's the main thread for the V.W. event and it's in the Calendar on PH!

I could be up for that... Why not meet up a little earlier and go for a blast before hand ?
Darty
I live in Bracknell WITH my car and Mrs too and don't mind going on a run before hand. However, i've mailed a whole bunch of people that regularly meet up in the Thames Valley/Surrey area at the Guildford, Liphook and Eversley meets with the details above in the first part of the Thread.
So i'll be meeting them at "The Point" (Peale Centre) at 11:00am anyway. If you want to go for a warmup run first, that's cool, i'm up for that. Hope you can keep up on the twisties....

Was planning to take a long route up to Bracknell anyway to get some fresh air first, so might as well come and join you guys - a lot more fun than going for a spin on my own! Let me know when and where you are meeting and will see you there....
Hi Debs, we're gonna meet at The Sainsbury's Superstore Carpark, here's a map link:

10:15-10:30 was the time mentioned. I fully intend to make the warmup run unless it's chucking it down!

You just wait until I come back from being let loose at Thruxton track next week - will be no stopping me then!
Good girl! Once you've been on a track, you'll never go back! It gets in your blood, you start craveing the smell of burning rubber and tortured brake pads..... Start sniffing nozzles in the petrol station......
Or so i heard

And that is supposed to encourage me??? The only time I remember liking the smell of burning rubber and petrol was when I was pregnant and I don't want to go there again! - and if you like those things I am getting seriously worried about you (or maybe you have something to tell us???!!)
I don't have one in the oven, it's an all bought and paid for beer belly.
See you Sunday
p.s. weather forecast:
Tonight:
Generally wet and windy at first but gradually becoming mostly dry. Southwesterly wind slowly easing. Minimum temperature 14 deg C (57 deg F).
Outlook for Sunday:
Rather cloudy. Some rain or showers. Sunshine developing later. Breezy.
As per the main thread for V.W.
A BIG warning for everyone coming in down the A30 is that PC plod is out in force today they have a scamera van hidden over a blind crest of a hill and then a road block 200yards after it all this is about 1/2 mile befor the car park so be careful tomorrow
