RE: Ginetta G4
Discussion
A word of caution regards Spadge hopkins of Cottage Classics, he does not own the commercial rights to manufacturer Ginetta G12 or Ginetta G4. If he manufactured a ginetta G12 or Ginetta G4 it would be a fake with no genuine chassis number and would not be recognized.
I wouldn't be surprised if he did not receive a solicitors letter in the post concerning this from the owners of the commercial rights of G4 and G12.
I would be cautious when promoting Classic Cottage to manufacturer a new G4 or G12 as this might have legal issues for him and the customer.

Nothing new I am affraid, except for the fact that I am still looking for a Long Cockpit G4 by Dare.
Fill me in guys. Once upon a time there was a goginetta sight and also at least one dealer for Dare Ginetta's (and Leading Edge iirc) in the USA. Did they all go belly up? Anyhow, it's good to see Dare going slow and steady when Marcos has gone belly up.
Has anyone got any picture of a G4 Coupe in Black or a light metallic blue or metallic gray that they could post?
The reason is because I am thinking of asking Dare to build ne one and I would like to see the car in these colours to help me choose a colour if I decide to go down this route.

Not sure what you was trying to show us but the links don't work for me....The G4 is still on a lift...
The engine is coming out to replace the flywheel after 4,500 miles--which is genuinely chewed up (never had to replace a flywheel in any of my other cars). Maybe the 2litre Zetec had something to do with it?
My mechanic paid Dare a compliment by saying they managed to get 10 pounds of sh@@ in a 5 pound bag--the packaging is that tight!

Flywheel 'chewed' up after 4,500 miles? Is that a new 2.0 Zetec or rebuilt one?
You must of course mean the flywheel 'starter ring teeth'?
Must be unheard of.
The only time I ever removed a flywheel from any engine I had in 40 years was to have it balanced although I've known friends who did fit new starter ring gear after high miles.
