Hi peeps..Just thought id share a bit of info as i run a TVR tasmin 280i which has the ford V6 cologne 2.8i fitted and recently i had the fuel metering head refurbed..As my car is a 1982 i have had to use fuel additives such as lead replacement which unknown to me at the time has an adverse effect on the sealing compound that joins the two halves of the metering unit..Mine started seeping fuel after 6 months..The guy at kmi built me another after looking into this F.O.C and sent it across as a replacement..Thanks steve..If you are needing a unit to be refurbed i would recommend this chap..Hope it helps..Ziga

Interesting, any idea of cost of that metering head refurb?
Hi ..Yes sorry i should of put that up..It cost £360 inc vat + postage..Thats with either an exchange..i:e..If your using your car and dont want it off the road for too long or you can send your old one off to be refurbed..It is best to ring him as its just one guy doing it..His name is steve and you can say that mark with the TVR 280i recommended you, He is a really nice chap and is very helpful..He also has the AAD..(Auxillary Air Device)..The WUR..(Warm Up Regulators)..Fuel pumps and filters and also the fuel accumulators if you still are using them..Hope this helps..Cheers..Ziga
