Can anyone advise where to get new or refurbed driveshafts for Focus ST 2008? Or would anyone go with uprated ones? Looking at Collins S5, at around £800.

Hi there, can't point you directly but there is plenty on here that have been down this road, just do a search.
My ST2 started leaking oil from the offside outer CV boot at the weekend so I'm on a trail to get some replacement parts. Just 54K on a 2007, they don't last long do they?
Mines clicking at the slightest hint of a right turn on the wheel now, figured I may as well change all of it, may even change both to allow even wear.

I doubt they would touch a 6 year old car with 60k on the clock.

Wouldn't hurt to try. Mine was done at 40k in an 06 in 2008.

Also it's a cheap fix anyway so might as well just have it done. Unless your issue is something else.
I'm looking at refurbed ones for about £165 each plus fitting, or £795 for the Collins ones, I haven't heard any feedback on the Collins ones yet though so may just stick to OEM.

When the cars turning right, especially on full lock, there is an incessant clicking from n/s wheel. Only just occurred in the last couple months. Getting worse.

Well rule out the cheapest option first.

Or spend a few hundred quid, doesn't matter to me. You have my advice.
Appreciated smile
