RS OR NOT! I NEED HELP!!!

Hi im a massive car nut but i need help with a decision!!
my current car is'nt as good as i want so im thinking of changing it to a FOCUS RS but i have heard some bad things about it and i need my mind settaled. i have heard about idle revs dropping, front diff causing the front end to squirm and lack of care by previous owners! any comments to help me decide would be apreciated!!
