I've had a bit of result regards Le Mans. I was thinking about going down a while back and then saw a post that said that the camping was sold out etc so though well thats my plans scuppered. Then, last night I was delivering a PC to a customer who said why dont you come down, we can sort out some places in hospitality for you it'll be a great laugh.

So, who is going from PistonHeads? As I have heard that there is one corner that is TVR heaven so thought that at least some of you would be going.

Matt.

I'm going this year, but with a mate in his Celica.

I'm going on the Tuesday, as last year we went on the Thursday and arriving at Maison Blanche at 3.00, we could hardly find any camping space.

Hope the weather is better this year.

Now I'm going with a Stag party – all out of my control so the guy who is organising has organised b*gger all apparently accommodationwise – he has the entry tickets, and the minibus and the ferry tickets but nowhere booked for camping

We're just gonna turn up I think and wing it – not having been for ten years or so is that a wise move, because if the consensus on here says its not, we'll maybe be leaving the tw*t there Sunday night to make his own way home. He went in 1990 (when the jags won) and he says it was OK – a few Euros in the right palm and say no more nod's as good as a wink to a blind frenchman. (Thom)

If you lot who go every year think we're gonna be out of luck when we get down there – please be honest and just tell me

Course you realsie we could be playing the bloody French in the W Cup Sunday lunchtime ...

Just like 1990 when I remember watching the Holland match through a camper van window inside the circuit – 'Love's got the world in motion ... '

I will be there, camping at Houx.

There will be 4 cars from TVRCC Hants, 2 Chimaeras, A Tamora (If Dicky Gets it in time), and a Golf.

Dicky has the tickets, so I don't know what the plot numbers are

But If anyone wants to pop along and say hello (Black Chimaera L715JTF) then I am sure I could try and be nice and offer you a drink

I'll be there with the girlfriend, ferry out Thurs a.m., back Sun eve.

To keep her happy I've agreed to take her to Paris for Thurs and Fri night, driving down to Le Mans Sat a.m., staying in Houx.

Hopefully she'll enjoy the motoring, cos I've talked her into a 2 week driving holiday around South France/ Northern Italy/returning via Nurburgring in July. Should be amusing getting the luggage and roof panel in the boot of a Griff....
