Anyone on here in the Gloucestershire area? Any interest in a meet?
Looks like crimsonchim and Adam2B are probably in the Stroud area, are bulging brake hoses a local problem then? I'm between Cirencester and Cheltenham, sort of, actually quite near the navel contemplating Gatsos on the A40 - wasn't me officer.
I notice a short piece from the Three Counties TVRCC region has been put in the last issue of Sprint. Anybody alive down there and what's the form for the club meetings?

Spoke to 3 counties TVRCC RO David Jones. They have their regular meeting next Wednesday 12th Dec and it is also their Xmas dinner, 19:30 for 20:00. Apparently they have a friendly bunch of regulars and they welcome new members. The menu is £12 for 2 courses or £16 for 3, see Sprint for venue.
Think I'll probably go along, anybody else? All that is necessary is to confirm your attendance with David by the weekend for the menu - e mail address and phone no. in Sprint.
Panoz, RO's e mail address has apparently been changed to AOL so may be the reason for no reply?
Marshy, can you make this date?

Sorry I'm late! never wandered into 'stuff & gossip' before.
Brake Hoses no longer bulging thanks to Andy at Hamilton Cars in Bristol. MOT all stamped up and we're back on the road. Must be all that emergency braking we do around here everytime a road subsides!
Certainly up for a beer in the new year.

Hi guys ,
Seems like we've got enough potential interest now to try and set up a meet and a .
There is a total of 9 if we can persuade FatBoy Spin out of the hills.
OK, suggestion is Bathurst Arms as already proposed as is not too far for those who work in Cheltenham and reasonable for the rest. Location is North Cerney and the pub is on the A435 Cheltenham to Cirencester road. Date - Wednesday 16th January at say 19:00 (early for those coming direct from work but arrive later if you prefer).
I will separately invite David Jones, RO from the 3 Counties region of the TVRCC if he would like to join us.
Post replies here and we'll see if we have enough.
Anybody else not already responded and may be interested?
Cheers and Happy Christmas ,
Martin.

Martin,
We'll make every effort - I'll even bring Pit Dolly!
Can't guarantee the Vixen will make it as the head's likely to be off at Crimbo to do the valve guides, and I'll probably unlead and port it at the same time. It'll probably get it's last trip before next season when it goes down the pub on Christmas Day!
I hope the car park's big at North Cerney so I can park my white tin box out of the way so no-one sees it
Merry Christmas to everyone!
